You really have no excuse to miss these amazing walks, we’ve even picked our favourites, to make it easy for you:
Moonrise Loop – This challenging 6.2km walk takes in many of Western Sydney Parkland’s greatest sights. Marvel at the fields of tall bluebells, that appear any time throughout the year after rain. Say hello to the inquisitive kangaroos and wallabies, do a spot of birdwatching, lie back and watch the clouds float by, or simply love the fact that you’re out in the fresh air. Suitable for walking and running.
Pimelea Loop – The Pimelea Loop is the perfect place for the whole family to get back to nature. See the Results of our bush regeneration program which began in the 1990s to save the Cumberland Plain Woodland, which is endemic to the area and endangered. An easy yet rewarding path – lined by fields of tall bluebells which bloom any time of the year after rain – Pimelea links Lizard Log and The Dairy with playgrounds, lookouts and waterways. There is plenty to see on the Pimelea Loop! Suitable for walking.
Surgarloaf Loop – This short walk takes in the magnificent Moonrise Lookout, with its breathtaking views of Western Sydney and the Sydney CBD skyline. The gentle hills along the way are sure to get your heart racing and provide a good workout for both you and your four-legged friend. While the walk itself offers a brief respite from life’s hectic pace, the view from the top is the undoubted highlight. Suitable for walking and running.
And dogs are welcome on a leash!
With options for everyone – from beginners to advanced you can ‘Get Back’ to what really matters – nature, family, friends, and fun.
